The wild kebbit is a type of non-player character (NPC) found within the Wilderness in Old School RuneScape. It is a small, passive creature that players can hunt for resources.
Location
Wild kebbits are predominantly found in the following areas:
- Wilderness (north of level 20)
- Near the Chaos Temple
- East of the Abandoned Keep

Wild kebbits have low combat stats:
- Combat Level: 2
- Hitpoints: 3
- Attack: 1
- Defence: 1
- Max Hit: 1
They are not aggressive and will not attack players unless provoked.
Loot
When killed, wild kebbits can drop:
- Kebbit Fur
- Kebbit Meat
- Raw Kebbit
The kebbit fur can be used in various crafting recipes, while the meat can be cooked for food.
Hunting and Trapping
Players can also catch wild kebbits using traps:
- Box Traps
To catch a wild kebbit, players must set a box trap in areas where kebbits are found. Once the trap is set, the player must wait for the kebbit to enter the trap before collecting it. Successfully capturing wild kebbits grants Experience in the Hunting skill.
