As players traverse the swamp, they will be greeted by a unique palette of shadows and deep, murky greens, expertly contrasting the more vibrant areas of the game.
The ground is mostly covered in black tar, which occasionally bubbles and oozes, emitting a foul smell. The swamp is dotted with patches of sickly vegetation, struggling to thrive amidst the oppressive conditions. Gnarled trees with twisted branches reach skyward, some appearing to be half-submerged in the tar, giving the impression they’ve been ensnared by the swamp’s clutches.
Various creatures inhabit this forsaken area, including the terrifying Tendrils themselves. These monstrous plants, resembling gnarled vines with a life of their own, can spring forth from the tar and ensnare unsuspecting adventurers. Their unsettling way of moving, curling and unfurling, adds to the overall eerie atmosphere of the swamp.
