Stool (pub)

Stool (pub)

The Stool is a piece of furniture found within various pubs across Gielinor, serving as a place for adventurers and citizens alike to rest and socialize. These simple wooden stools come in a variety of styles, often made from sturdy oak or pine, and are designed for comfort even during extended stays.

Characteristics

  • Appearance: The Stool typically features a circular seat atop four sturdy legs, though some variations may include a backrest. Its natural wood finish allows it to blend seamlessly with the rustic furnishings commonly found in pubs.
  • Interactivity: Players can right-click on the Stool to ‘Sit,’ allowing them to take a break from their adventures. Sitting often restores a player’s energy and provides an opportunity for social interaction with nearby players.
  • Locations: Stools can be found in popular pubs such as the Draynor Village Pub, the Lumbridge Castle Tavern, and the Varrock West Bank. Each location offers its unique atmosphere, filled with NPCs, quests, and fellow players.
  • Animations: Upon sitting on a Stool, players will see their character perform a brief sitting animation, creating a relaxed and immersive experience.

Cultural Significance

In Gielinor, pubs are not just places to grab a drink; they serve as social hubs where adventurers can share tales, form alliances, or engage in friendly banter. The Stool is a central feature of this social experience, offering a physical space where players can come together, rest, and plan their next adventures.

Restoration

Sitting on a Stool does not provide any restoration of hit points or prayer points; however, it can serve as a momentary break during gameplay. It’s advisable for players to consider their surroundings, as sitting could leave them vulnerable to potential attacks or ambushes in dangerous areas.
