Stepping stone (Wilderness Agility Course)
Stepping Stone
The Stepping Stone is a unique agility obstacle found in the Wilderness Agility Course in Old School RuneScape (OSRS). This course, designed for players level 52 Agility and above, offers a thrilling experience due to its location in the treacherous Wilderness, known for player versus player (PvP) combat. The Stepping Stone itself consists of a series of stones that you must leap across, requiring precise timing and agility.
Appearance
The Stepping Stones are represented visually as large, flat rocks that are scattered across a narrow stream within the Wilderness region. Each stone is a grayish color with a slightly jagged texture, surrounded by the ominous wilderness backdrop. The smooth surface of each stone makes for a distinct jump, creating a subtle challenge as the player navigates the course.
Obstacle Mechanics
To successfully traverse the Stepping Stone, players must click on the stones to jump onto them. The stones are positioned in a linear fashion, requiring the player to jump from one stone to the next. Successfully hopping across all stones contributes to the completion of the course, allowing players to gain Agility experience and earn rewards later on.
However, the jumping mechanics can be interrupted by nearby players, particularly in the Wilderness, adding an element of risk. Be attentive to your surroundings to avoid being attacked while attempting to complete your jumps.
Experience and Rewards
Each successful jump across the Stepping Stones grants players 9 Agility experience. Completing the entire Wilderness Agility Course, which includes not only the Stepping Stone but other obstacles as well, yields a total experience of 228 Agility points upon finishing one lap. Additionally, players have the chance to earn Marks of Grace, which can be exchanged for various rewards at the Graceful Outfit seller, enhancing your agility and jogging speed when worn.
