Rosemary (plant)

Rosemary is a fragrant herb that can be grown by players in Old School RuneScape (OSRS) with a Farming level of 18. It is a member of the herb category and is primarily used for herblore purposes as well as in cooking.

The seeds for rosemary can be obtained by searching farming supply shops or by killing certain monsters, like the level 28 Giant Rat, which may drop the seeds. Additionally, rosemary seeds can be purchased from other players on the Grand Exchange. Players will need to plant these seeds in a herb patch, which can be found in locations such as Taverley or Ardougne.

When planted, rosemary takes approximately 80 minutes to grow, after which it can be harvested for its herbs. Each patch can typically yield a harvest of 1 to 4 rosemary herbs. Rosemary can be used to make a variety of potions when combined with other ingredients in the Herblore skill.

Upon harvesting, players can also expect a small amount of Farming experience, which aids in leveling up their Farming skill. Rosemary itself can be used to make the potions such as the Super Restore, which restores both Hitpoints and Prayer points, making it a valuable herb for players looking to enhance their combat capabilities or maintain their survival during difficult encounters.

In addition to its practical uses, rosemary has a unique visual aesthetic, featuring a vibrant and lush appearance that adds to the charm of the herb patches throughout Gielinor. Players may appreciate the beauty of these delicate plants while tending their gardens or farming operations.
