Why Complete Fight Arena?
This quest is ideal for players seeking substantial Attack XP (12,175) and Thieving XP (2,175) without skill prerequisites. It also unlocks Bouncer in the Nightmare Zone, offering a chance to fight this boss again for additional rewards. The quest’s safespot mechanics make it accessible for lower combat levels.
Step-by-Step Quest Walkthrough
Follow these steps to complete the Fight Arena quest efficiently. Ensure you have the recommended items to streamline the process.
Starting the Quest
- Travel to the Fight Arena, located south of Ardougne, west of the Ardougne Monastery, and east of the Tree Gnome Village maze.
- Speak to Lady Servil near her broken cart. She’ll explain that General Khazard has kidnapped her husband, Justin, and son, Sammy, forcing them to fight in the arena.
- Offer to help, and she’ll direct you to rescue her family.
Obtaining Khazard Armour
- Head east to the group of buildings south of the Monastery.
- Enter the northeastern-most house and search the chest along the north wall (second from the east) to obtain a Khazard helmet and Khazard armour.
- Equip both pieces. Note: You can grab multiple sets by dropping the armor and searching the chest again, but one set is sufficient.
Infiltrating the Prison
- With the Khazard armour equipped, head south to the prison (the large building forming the south and east boundaries of the Fight Arena).
- Attempt to enter the prison door. The guards will mistake you for a Khazard Guard and let you in, provided you’re wearing the armour. Do not unequip the armour inside, or guards won’t interact with you.
- Inside, go to the southeastern room and speak to the Lazy Khazard Guard. He mentions enjoying a drink.
- Exit the prison and head west to the tavern. Speak to the bartender, Angor, and buy a Khali brew for 5 coins.
- Return to the Lazy Khazard Guard and give him the Khali brew. He’ll get drunk, pass out, and leave the Khazard cell keys on the table. Take them.
Freeing Sammy Servil
- Use the Khazard cell keys to unlock the northeastern cell door, where Sammy Servil is held.
- Free Sammy, and you’ll automatically follow him to the main arena, where his father, Justin, is being attacked by a Khazard Ogre (level 63).
Combat in the Arena
The quest involves fighting three enemies in sequence: a Khazard Ogre, a Khazard Scorpion, and Bouncer. A fourth fight against General Khazard is optional. All enemies can be safespotted, making the quest manageable for lower levels.
Fighting the Khazard Ogre (Level 63)
- Strategy: Lure the Ogre behind a skeleton in the arena and use Magic, Ranged, or a halberd to attack safely. Alternatively, use Protect from Melee and engage in melee combat.
- Tip: If the fight doesn’t start, speak to Justin Servil. Avoid talking to him during the fight, as it may spawn a second Ogre.
Fighting the Khazard Scorpion (Level 44)
- Strategy: After defeating the Ogre, you’ll be locked in a cell. Speak to your cellmate, Hengrad, to proceed. You’ll face a Khazard Scorpion next. Use the same skeleton safespot for Ranged or Magic, or melee with Protect from Melee.
- Tip: This is the easiest fight, so conserve resources.
Fighting Bouncer (Level 137)
- Strategy: Bouncer, General Khazard’s hellhound, is the toughest mandatory opponent. Use the skeleton safespot on the west side of the scaffold to attack with Ranged or Magic. If meleeing, Protect from Melee is highly recommended, and bring high-healing food (e.g., sharks).
- Tip: Bouncer can follow you anywhere in the arena, so position carefully to avoid direct combat.
Fighting General Khazard (Level 142) – Optional
- Strategy: After defeating Bouncer, General Khazard attacks, enraged by his pet’s death. You can fight him using the skeleton safespot or escape through the southeastern door (or run north until he stops being aggressive). If you choose to fight, Protect from Melee or safespotting is advised.
- Warning: If you die or leave after starting this fight, you cannot re-enter the arena, and any dropped items will be lost. Exit before engaging if you need to resupply.
Completing the Quest
Once Bouncer is defeated, the Servil family escapes. You can either defeat General Khazard or leave the arena. Return to Lady Servil at the quest start point to claim your reward.

Tips and Tricks for Success
Maximize your efficiency and safety with these tips:
- Use Safespots: The skeleton in the arena is your best friend. Position enemies behind it to avoid damage when using Ranged or Magic.
- Conserve Resources: The Scorpion is weak, so save food and potions for Bouncer and potentially General Khazard.
- Resupply if Needed: You can teleport out during cutscenes or between fights (except after starting the General Khazard fight) to restock. Speak to the Khazard Guard outside the prison to re-enter.
- Runelite Quest Helper: Use the Quest Helper plugin for Runelite to track items and steps, making navigation easier.
- Avoid Overloading Inventory: Leave two inventory spaces for the Khazard armour and helmet. Fill the rest with food or runes.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Steer clear of these pitfalls to ensure a smooth quest experience:
Unequipping Khazard Armour
Do not remove the Khazard armour inside the prison, as guards will ignore you, halting progress.
Carrying Unnecessary Items
Avoid bringing valuable items into the arena. If you die during the General Khazard fight, you cannot retrieve dropped items.
Ignoring Safespots
Failing to use safespots can make fights much harder, especially for lower-level players. Always lure enemies behind the skeleton when possible.
With this guide, you’re ready to tackle the Fight Arena quest in OSRS. Save the Servil family, defeat General Khazard’s minions, and claim your rewards with confidence. Happy questing!
