Kbd head (mounted)

The KBD head (mounted) is a decorative item in Old School RuneScape that is used to adorn the player’s Achievement Gallery, specifically within a Player-owned house (POH). It is a trophy that signifies the player’s skill and prowess in defeating the King Black Dragon (KBD), one of the game’s more formidable bosses.

To obtain the KBD head (mounted), players must first defeat the King Black Dragon, which can be found in the lair located in the Wilderness, specifically at level 30 Wilderness. Upon defeating the KBD, there’s a chance that the player will receive its head as a drop. The base drop rate for the KBD head is approximately 1/100. Once the player has acquired the KBD head, they can then mount it on the wall in their house.

To mount the KBD head, players need to have a construction level of at least 50 and must have completed the quest “Dragon Slayer II.” Additionally, they will need to have a mounted animal head space available and a hammer in their inventory. The KBD head requires 1 KBD head, 1 plank (any type), and a hammer for mounting.

After successfully mounting the KBD head, it will display prominently on the wall of the Achievement Gallery. The KBD head (mounted) serves not only as a decorative piece but also as a testament to the player’s accomplishment in overcoming one of Gielinor‘s most challenging foes. Players often use mounted heads to showcase their achievements to visitors in their house, demonstrating their prowess and understanding of the game’s mechanics.

Visually, the KBD head maintains the menacing aesthetic of the KBD, featuring its characteristic sharp teeth, glowing eyes, and rugged facial features. This detail adds to the immersive experience for players who value showcasing their milestones and achievements within their Player-owned house.

Furthermore, the KBD head (mounted) can be removed and reattached by the player, which allows for some degree of customization in the display of trophies within the house. The mounted head retains its integrity and will not despawn or degrade over time, making it a permanent and prestigious addition to any player’s Achievement Gallery.
