Tall, twisted trees stretch high into the misty sky, their gnarled branches seemingly reaching out like skeletal fingers. The atmosphere is thick with an ominous fog that hugs the water’s surface, casting a ghostly pallor over the scene.
As you approach the canoe itself, a small, dilapidated wooden craft rests precariously on the water, half-submerged and teetering on the brink of sinking. Its once vibrant coloring has faded, revealing a weathered gray surface mottled with algae and patches of rot. Wisps of smoke trail lazily from a nearby campfire, the only sign of life in the otherwise desolate landscape.
Here, the soundscape is equally striking. The gentle lapping of the water against the edges of the canoe creates a soft, rhythmic murmur, accompanied by the distant calls of strange, unseen creatures that echo through the trees.
